Online Safety
Below are some links to websites that provide resources and helpful advice as to how to help your children remain safe online.
CEOP
CEOP stands for Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command. CEOP is a organisation which helps keep thousands of children and young people safe from sexual abuse and grooming online every year. They have helped thousands of children and young people, as well as their parents and carers seeking advice about how to keep their children safe online.
CEOP are willing to give advice about how to keep your child safe online and their website allows you to make a report directly if something has happened to your child online which has made either yourself or your child feel unsafe, scared or worried. This could be from someone they know in real life, or someone they have only ever met online.
Their website provides you as parents many links to helpful videos and information that you may find helpful to read through and access.
Screen time and boosting digital resilience
CEOPs surveys have shown that screen time has been a key concern for many parents and carers.
However, high-quality screen time can offer opportunities for learning, staying connected and boosting digital resilience.
